Having an allergic reaction to mold it is basically the same as having allergic reactions to almost any other airborne allergen. The injections of mold allergy medicine include some of the mold that is causing the allergen in order that the person can develop some sort of a tolerance to the mold allergy.

At the end of the day you really need to try and eliminate the mold from your house. If you can try and prevent the mold from existing in your environment by controlling the environment then you will be well on your way to avoiding the disease and avoiding the use of mold allergy medicine.
